Interns

In the PL-1 year, interns have a mix of night shift blocks (for Inpatient Ward) and a shift system consisting of long or short days and night shifts (in NICU/Nursery) or rotating shifts (Peds ED).

Senior Residents

For the PL-2 & 3 years, senior residents take call, the frequency of which varies.
— Night shift system for Ward & PICU
— Call frequency varies by rotation – no more frequent than q4 and as spread out as q14 days
— One call free month each year
