The pediatric faculty consists of approximately 50 full-time members, all of whom have an academic appointment at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. The primary responsibilities of each faculty member include resident education, direct patient care, and clinical or basic science research. The volunteer clinical faculty is comprised of over 100 community pediatricians and subspecialists who actively participate in the pediatric training program as well as in other departmental activities.
