Research Focus:
Dr. Kallay is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and a faculty member in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. His research interests include medical education with an emphasis on simulation-based techniques, and currently is the Director of the Simulation and Skills Center at Harbor-UCLA. He recently completed a Medical Education Fellowship at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and is the director of the Pediatric Intern Airway Course at Harbor-UCLA. Since joining the faculty in 2006, he has received two Outstanding Faculty Teaching Awards from the Department of Pediatrics Residency Program.
